Wonderful Huaraz (04 Days / 03 Nights)

DAY 1: LLANGANUCO LAGOON / HUAYLAS ALLEY

In the morning, reception at the terminal and transfer to the chosen hotel. Breakfast. Departure: 9:00 a.m. Return: approximately 7:00 p.m. FULL DAY

Visit the northern part of the Callejón de Huaylas, where we will appreciate part of the Cordillera Blanca mountain range and the typical villages of Marcará, Carhuaz (natural fruit ice cream tasting), Mancos, El Campo Santo de Yungay, the turquoise Llanganuco Lagoon (Chinancocha), and the quenual forests. Optional: Boat ride, restaurant, visit to the artisan village of Taricá, and return to Huaraz.

DAY 2: CHAVÍN DE HUANTAR / QUEROCOCHA LAGOON

am. Breakfast. Departure: 9:00 am. Return: 7:00 pm approx. FULL DAY

Cultural excursion in the Callejón de Conchucos: We will observe the town of Recuay, Ticapampa, Catac, Laguna de Querococha, Map of Peru, we will cross the Cordillera Blanca through the Cahuish Tunnel and descend until we reach Chavín. We will visit the facilities of the Archaeological Monument of Chavín de Huantar, (Culture of the Andean Civilization), we will appreciate La Cabeza Clava, El Lanzón de Chavín, the Portico of the Falconidas, Network of underground galleries, National Museum – Restaurant - return to Huaraz.

DAY 3: PASTORURI GLACIER / CLIMATE CHANGE ROUTE

am. Breakfast. Departure: 9:00 am. Return: 5:30 pm approx. FULL DAY

We will pass the towns of Recuay, Ticapampa, Catac, Laguna de Patococha where we will appreciate the Andean duck, Pumapampa (sparkling spring water source), Pumashimi (multi-colored water source), La Puya Raymondi (maximum exponent of the high Andean flora), rock art paintings, we will arrive at the base of the Nevado de Pastoruri, walk of approximately 01 hour or rent horses, to visit the snowy mountain and its lagoon in formation - Restaurant - return to Huaraz.

DAY 4: LAGUNA 69 / LLANGANUCO LAGOON /TREKKING

Departure: 5:00 am Return: 7:00 pm approx. FULL DAY

Approx. 6 hrs of walking / physical condition required. 3 hrs by car, stop for breakfast (optional), stop at Llanganuco Lagoon (10 minutes), arrival at Cebollapampa where the walk begins for approximately 3 hrs. skirting and climbing towards Lagoon 69 with views of the Pisco, Chacraraju, Chopicalqui and Huascarán snow-capped mountains; visit the lagoon for 01 hr, then begin the 03 hrs return to Cebollapampa to board the bus to the city of Huaraz. (Bring a box lunch for lunch) PM Appropriate time transfer to the terminal.
